We never see what you type, paste, or upload. Everything is analyzed on your own machine.

๐ก The one thing that matters: Kasbah analyzes content locally, on your device. Your prompts, pastes, files, and clipboard never leave your machine โ not to our servers, not to anyone else's.
When you're about to send something to an AI tool, Kasbah checks it locally โ like a spell checker that runs on your device, not in the cloud. It never uploads your text. The only thing it does externally is authenticate your account (email + hashed password), and only when you log in.
That's it. Everything else is local.
When you're about to send, paste, or upload something, the extension analyzes it locally โ the detection engine runs entirely inside your browser. The analysis takes under 10ms. Nothing is transmitted outside your device during this process.
The extension communicates with one external service: our API at api.bekasbah.com โ only for account authentication, and only if you create an account. Not for content analysis.
Every decision Kasbah makes is logged locally in extension storage on your device. You own this data entirely. We have no access to it. You can clear it at any time from the extension settings.
We request the minimum permissions required. We don't request permissions to read all tabs, your history, or your bookmarks.
Neither service sees your content. Neither service participates in analysis.
Account data stays as long as your account is active. Delete your account and it's gone. Local audit logs exist on your machine under your control โ we have no copies and no access.
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time. Email [email protected].
